Relative to DepEd Order 009, s. 2026 titled Guidelines on the Implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar in Basic Education, which stipulates that the opening of SY 2026-2027 to begin on June 8, 2026 in which the initial five days are dedicated strictly to school opening activities, learner profiling, and orientations, this Office hereby informs the field of the schedule of activities to be conducted during the opening block.  This is to ensure that week one of the school year be maximized for the intended activities.
